It's Official!

It's hard to believe that I am already more than 5 months into pregnancy land! Between the holidays, doctor appointments, new jobs and house-hunting, time has flown by. ( I owe the little one a big " thank you" for allowing me such an easy pregnancy so far...)

So, up until a week or two ago, there had not been much time to think about the upcoming 20 week ultrasound ( ...boy? or girl?)

So,when Josiah and I stepped into the doctor's office last week, we began to anticipate the big news and were thrilled to hear, " IT'S A  BOY! " ...and mama and baby are both healthy! 

I don't think it was any coincidence that shortly after we left the doctor's office that morning, I began to feel baby move for the first time. I'm pretty sure he was just reassuring me that  he was male. Grrr...

So, it's official! Time to flip to the "boy" section of the baby name book and get to work!

So, a little birdie told you?

Hmmm, and which little birdie would that be? ...

If each and every one of my friends and family members haven't heard the BIG NEWS, then I owe you an apology. Since, well, even my favorite cashier at Trader Joe's has already heard the news. ( I had to come up with some type of explanation for the lifetime supply of seltzer water, organic fruits, veggies and pickles...now replacing the usual Spicy Thai noodles and white wine.)

I think our mail man also knows. Our little mailbox is stuffed with every Nursery Decor Catalogue and Pregnancy Magazine under the sun. I'm sure he dreads Box #26034...

 All this to say that we are SO EXCITED about the little seed growing inside me!  So, I am starting this blog to post pics, news and updates on all of our comings and goings so that everyone can stay updated on the latest...
